Looking for the right candidate? Start with natural talent.
Hiring the right person is critical to your organization’s success. In practice, most recruitment processes focus on experience, competencies, and motivation. But there’s another key ingredient: does the candidate have the natural talent needed to thrive in the role? Only then can someone perform sustainably — with energy, enjoyment, and room to grow.
At MAXURTALENT, we go beyond the résumé or interview impression. We help employers first define what the role truly requires — and then assess whether candidates naturally align with that profile. We don’t operate as a traditional recruitment agency, but rather as an independent partner in your selection process.
Using our TalentScan, we objectively assess whether a candidate has the natural talent necessary for the role. This gives you valuable insight into someone’s potential, innate strengths, and areas for development — before a final decision is made.
An added advantage: internal candidates can also participate in this process. They already know your organization, can onboard faster, and are more likely to stay engaged long-term when offered development opportunities. While reassigning their current role may require short-term effort, the long-term benefit is increased commitment and future-readiness across your organization. Ambitious employees see that real growth is possible internally.
Our approach: 6 steps to the right candidate
1. Define the profile: what does the role truly require?
Together, we identify the natural talents, competencies, and personal qualities needed to successfully and sustainably fulfill the role.
2. Fine-tune the job description
We help translate this profile into a job posting that attracts the right type of candidate. The right wording draws in people who genuinely recognize themselves in the role — and are naturally suited to it.
3. First round of interviews by the employer
You conduct the first interviews and shortlist candidates based on experience, motivation, and alignment with the role profile. We remain in the background until candidates are selected for the second round.
4. TalentScan and independent advice
MAXURTALENT conducts a TalentScan for each candidate invited to the second interview. This scan assesses whether the candidate possesses the natural talent needed for the role. We provide the selection committee with an independent report outlining the degree of match with the required talent profile. This also shows whether a candidate, even if not yet fully developed, has the growth potential to succeed with the right support.
5. Invitation to the second interview
The employer invites the shortlisted candidates for a second interview, making a well-informed choice using our insights. Some candidates, despite strong motivation or a great résumé, may be excluded at this stage — simply because the scan reveals they lack the essential natural talent. In that case, they wouldn’t be able to perform authentically in the role, even if they tried — sometimes without even realizing it themselves.
6. Final selection
The employer makes the final decision and selects the most suitable candidate. Thanks to the TalentScan, you now understand which competencies come naturally to the person, and which aspects may require more energy. This helps you provide better guidance, realistic expectations, and a smoother onboarding.
