" The Power of Together "

I was born in 1966, married, and a father of two adult sons. My business journey began in 1988 in the world of technical wholesale. With my natural talents in commerce, leadership, and connection, I quickly advanced into various managerial roles. In 2008, I became the Regional Director, leading around 50 people across three locations in Southern Netherlands. A year later, I started my own branch of Brammer in Roermond as CEO.

This period was all about building, extreme growth, connecting people, and celebrating successes together, but also about hard work, setbacks, and bouncing back. I built my own team, learned a lot—not just about business, but especially about teamwork and people-centered leadership.

An Unexpected Turn – and New Insights!

In 2012, I was diagnosed with MS. What followed was a period of medical treatments, uncertainty, and physical limitations. After 5 years, I was officially declared 40% disabled. This forced me to let go of tasks, delegate, and trust my team—knowing that things would work out. Thanks to the strength and dedication of our team, we were able to continue growing our Roermond branch, even during this challenging time.

My wife, Nicole, herself an entrepreneur for more than 16 years, also played a crucial role, both mentally and physically. As a health practitioner, she supported me through my illness and helped stabilize my symptoms. Thanks to her, I am still able to do far more today than I ever dreamed possible back then.

This period brought me closer to myself. I was introduced to the TalentScan, which helped me reset my course, giving direction to who I am and what I want to contribute. I completed training to become a TalentScan Practitioner and Coach.

In 2018, I sold my shares, and at the end of 2024, I officially parted ways with the Rubix Group.

In 2025, Nicole and I co-founded MAXURTALENT—a shared initiative born from our desire to guide people who, like us, are at a crossroads in their lives or careers.

We believe that life, no matter how unpredictable it may be, always offers opportunities to make new choices.
